๐Ÿ‘ฉ ๐Ÿ‘ฉ ๐Ÿ‘ฉMy Mother, My Mother ๐Ÿ‘ฉ ๐Ÿ‘ฉ ๐Ÿ‘ฉ

Oh my mother, you are superior,

None is as great as you.

You are calm, you are gentle,

And very kind too..

Oh my mother, you are fierce

In you I find many things.

You are calm, you are brave

And chase all my troubles away.

Oh my mother, you are caring

You feed me and correct me.

You also help me in need,

You clean me and protect me.

Oh my mother, you are laudable,

You are my teacher

Oh you are charismatic and virtuous

Your love is my only abode.

⏰⏰⏰The Jealous Clock and the Kind Watch ⏰⏰⏰

Once there lived a jealous clock and a kind watch. The clock told the watch “I am always on the wall where as you can roam the world”. The watch knew that the clock was jealous but he stayed quiet and the clock wished he was the watch.

After a few days the watch and his family had to move to another country. They said bye and went off leaving the clock behind. Now the clock was all alone. He was scared. Just then a new family shifted into the house. This time the owner ill treated the clock. The clock was sad. He remembered how he was mean to his only friend, the watch.

That night the clock kept thinking about the watch and couldn't sleep. A fairy appeared and asked him what the problem was. Clock explained that he wanted to talk to his friend and it was urgent. The fairy gave him hands, legs and a cell phone. The clock called his friend and asked him where he was. Now that clock had hands and legs he went to the watch and they stayed friends forever, traveling the world together.

๐ŸŒ…๐ŸŒ…๐ŸŒ…Perseverance and Pride ๐ŸŒ…๐ŸŒ…๐ŸŒ…

Two different words in one tide.

๐ŸŒ…

We perceive to accomplish our goals

We take pride in stories told.

Perseverance makes you stand tall.

In times of need and sprawl.

Pride swells the chest in all

Retelling events that call

We live a life to perceive

We take pride in our hearts and achieve

In multitude of things we do

Today …

Tomorrow a new

๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒนWhy do roses have thorns?๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน

Long long ago, when animals and plants could talk, there were many plants. One plant was very special. She was called Rose, and there were thousands of roses. There was a garden filled with colorful beautiful roses.

Every time somebody fell in love, they used to go to the rose gardens and pluck some flowers to give to their loved ones. Slowly the population of the roses went down. All the roses were sorrowful as some of their friends died. All the roses complained to the queen of roses. The queen was upset to hear about this and she was heartbroken. She decided to speak with the fairies in order to stop the humans from hurting the rose population.

The quest began. The queen, accompanied by some soldiers, walked long distances. They walked across the river, they climbed the mountains and they crossed the desert. Then they finally reached the town of the fairies. The queen asked the fairies for help. She informed them about humans plucking roses and reducing the rose population. She requested the fairies to change the look of the rose such that humans would leave them alone. The fairies asked, “ How would you like to change?”. The queen said, “I don’t want the appearance to be changed, can you change the stem as that is where the humans pluck us?” The fairies decided they would add thorns to  the stem of the roses. The queen agreed.

From that day onwards humans didn’t pluck the roses as it hurt them.

This is how roses got their thorns.๐ŸŒน

๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš’ Firemen to the Rescue! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš’

It was a bright sunny morning, Joseph, Mia,Tom and Emma were enjoying the beautiful day in the meadow. Mia and Emma were playing badminton while Tom and Joseph were sitting and watching the girls play.

While playing, Emma hit the shuttlecock so hard that it went flying over Mia’s head and got stuck on a tree. Everyone was wondering how to reach the shuttlecock and bring it down. A few moments later, Joseph struck upon an idea. He decided to climb the tree and get it down. The girls were worried. “What if he falls down?” said Mia. First was Joseph, he held one branch and put his feet on a weak branch. The branch could not support his weight and it snapped! Joseph was stuck on the tree! The girls were terrified. They rushed and called the firemen so they could rescue Joseph. The fireman pulled out a long ladder and told Joseph to climb down. “Climb down the ladder and do not be afraid!” shouted one of the firemen. Joseph carefully stepped on the ladder and came down safe and sound.

“Were you scared?” asked Emma. Joseph was ready to reply, “Are you kidding? I was not scared at all!” exclaimed Joseph. Mia started whispering something in Emma’s ear, “I think Joseph was petrified when he realised he was stuck on the tree,” whispered Mia, giggling.

“I think you are right,” said Emma. Tom suddenly popped up in the middle of their conversation and said, “Is it really hard getting down a tree once you have climbed it?” Emma and Mia both looked at Tom and replied, “Yeah, obviously.” Tom got embarrassed and said, “Anyway, it’s getting dark so we should head back home now. “Yep!” replied Joseph. Tom, Mia, Emma and Joseph went back home. The next day, the four friends told everyone in their neighbourhood about what had happened the other day.

๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜• Who Am I? ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜•

 God knows the reason why,

But at times I wonder who am I๐Ÿ˜•?

My friends call me Einstein!

They say I am the lifeline.

Some say, I am Tesla,

Wow! That’s a compliment, fella;

As sweet as nutella !

They also call me Elon Musk,

Because I work from dawn to dusk,

Like an elephant with a mighty tusk!

Well! That’s absolutely fine,

As long as I am in line,

With great men who shine.

I’ll grow up to be great one day,

And make everyone around me say;

This child is bright as day!!

๐Ÿ—ผ๐Ÿ—ผ๐Ÿ—ผ An Adventurous Day In France ๐Ÿ—ผ๐Ÿ—ผ๐Ÿ—ผ

Ring! Ring! It was the alarm clock. I woke up to find myself lying on a bed in a different room! I looked around. Oh no, all my stuff had disappeared! Except for my clothes. I got up and looked out the window. The Eiffel Tower? Where was the Burj Khalifa? Am I in France?

I peered in wonder.

I put on the first thing I found in the closet and went down stairs. I went outside and what I saw stunned me! It was completely different from Dubai. Everything was written in French. I walked around looking for a bank. ‘Blom Bank France’. It looked like a bank so I went in. I asked, “How much is five hundred dirhams to Euros?” “One hundred thirty seven Euros, four cents.” replied the man staring at the wad of bills in my hand. I exchanged my money for Euros and went to a cafe. I was starving! I looked at the menu. Bล“uf bourguignon, Poulet confit, soupe ร  l'oignon, etc. I called for a waiter. “Oui? Puis-je prendre votre commande?” Just then I realised something! I don’t know to communicate effectively in French. I tried my best. He smiled and said, “May I take your order?” I smiled back. “ One Bล“uf bourguignon”

I got my order and ate it all up.

After that, I did some shopping and was waiting for the bus. A girl my age came up and asked, “Salut, D'oรน viens-tu?” “Je viens de Dubaรฏ.” I replied. "Dubaรฏ! Vous vous plaisez lร -bas ? Que c'est beau!” She started chattering happily. I didn’t understand a thing. I flailed around for an answer. Just then, the bus came and I hopped on.

A few minutes later, the driver called out, “Rue du citron” Nobody replied so he drove off. I kept looking outside the window admiring the mesmerising Eiffel Tower and dozed off. My jaws dropped when I woke up! I saw the magnificent Burj Khalifa and realised that I was dreaming. My parents and I were on our way to visit my favourite uncle in Dubai.

I laughed and said to myself, “ Haha, How silly of me!”
