HAPPY GREEN KINGDOM

 HAPPY GREEN KINGDOM

One day, King Jake and Queen Ava were taking a tour of their kingdom. They saw many impoverished people begging for food and water. Jake said, "Look at these people, Ava. We should do something for our kingdom."

The royal couple decided to build a water connection system to benefit the people of the kingdom. They ordered their top-class builders and connected a stream to different parts of the kingdom. They constructed 2 paths leading to 8 different parts of the kingdom. To distribute the water equally, 2/8 of the water was allocated for maintaining the overall supply for household use. Another 2/8 of the water was dedicated for landscaping and maintaining the parks. With its 2/8 share of water, the Hydroponics system was used for efficient, water-saving farming, reducing the strain on traditional agricultural practices and promoting sustainable food production. Finally, the remaining 2/8 of the water was used in industries and other purposes.

The people of the green kingdom thought this was a fantastic idea. They liked helping the environment using fractions because of all this, the kingdom became rich, and no one had to worry about food and water anymore. King Jake and Queen Ava cared a lot about their people and the environment

Every year, they celebrate "The Green Fraction Day." They plant trees and enjoy the clean air from the sun and wind energy. Kings from the other kingdoms saw what King Jake and Queen Ava were doing and decided to use fractions to protect their environments too. Their kingdom became famous for its wise use of fractions to make a proper use of water. Everybody lived happily, knowing that fractions, even when a little more complex, could make the world a better place for all to enjoy.

‘Poetic Musings’ of the students of Grade 4A on the occasion of Teacher’  Day under the guidance of their Class Teacher Ms. Nupur Singh.

For Primary Supervisor :

Miss Raji, our primary supervisor dear,

A guiding star, always near.

With wisdom and grace, she leads the way,

Inspiring us to seize the day.

Her knowledge, a treasure trove,

Guiding us with kindness and love.

In her presence, we bloom and thrive,

Miss Raji, our mentor, keeps our dreams alive.

For Grades 1 , 2 and 3 Teachers:

On this special day, our gratitude we convey,

For guiding us forward, each step of the way.

With patience and care, you've shown us the light,

Molding our minds, and making futures bright.

Teachers dear, your impact truly profound,

In our hearts, your wisdom forever will resound.

With tender hearts and voices pure,

Teachers, your love we ensure.

For English Teachers:

In the land of grammar, where words roam,

Our English teacher sits on a linguistic throne.

With pink pens in hand, they correct our prose,

Turning our essays into literacy shows.

They teach us metaphors, similes and rhyme,

But secretly, they love their grammar crimes.

Oh, English teachers, you're quite the wit,

Making Shakespeare sound like a modern hit!

For Hindi Teachers:

Bunati hai preet ye shabdon ki taaqat se rishte,

Hindi ki adbhut duniya mein aap hai woh ujval misaal.

Har lafz aapke saath ganthi hai kahaniyon ki dor,

Shabd roshni ban kar chamakte hain, aapke honhaar saar.

Vyakaran ki jhankar se saja hai har vakya aapke haath,

Aapke bina Hindi adhoori, aapki den hai mahaan saath.

Shukriya aapko, Hindi ke pathik, vidya ka yeh sagar,

Aapke sahayog se hi, badhte hain hamari bhasha aur sansaar.

For Math Teachers:

Our math teachers, a genius they say,

Makes numbers laugh and equations play.

With rulers and calculators by their side,

They turn math into a joyride.

Fractions and decimals, they make it cool,

Solving problems like a math whiz at school.

Oh, math teacher, with your quirky ways,

You turn numbers into a hilarious maze!

For Science and SST Teachers:

A master of equations, solving problems with grace,

But when it comes to telling jokes, she/he’s in first place.

Her/his humor is like a particle, bouncing to and fro,

Tickling our funny bones wherever we may go.

From atoms to galaxies, they know it all,

Teaching us the wonders of the cosmic ball.

With quirky experiments, they light up the room,

Oh! Dear Science teachers, you make learning bloom!

To dull and boring classes, you’re a shining star,

We're grateful for the laughter and knowledge you impart.

As the sun climbs higher in the sky's embrace,

Teacher, your wisdom we embrace.

For PE Teachers:

With a whistle in hand, ready to make us crawl,

Engaging us in activities that enthrall.

They are the master of fitness, a guru of sweat,

In their presence, our muscles constantly fret.

With a booming voice, they shout, ”Run faster my friend”,

But our legs turn to jelly, unable to comprehend.

They teach us the art of dribbling and scoring,

But our coordination leaves them roaring.

For Music Teachers :

Sangeet ki raahon mein aapka aashiyan hai,

Suron ki chhaon mein aapki mehfil hai jahan.

Taal se sajti hai har pal zindagi meri,

Aapke saath sangeet mein rangin hain yeh ghadi.

Sikhaate rahiye sangeet ki har ek nayi boli,

Aapki mehnat se hi toh badhti hai yeh jyoti.

Aap ho mere sangeet ke saathi, mere raag ka raaz,

Shukriya aapko, mere ustaad, mere saaz.

For ICT Teachers :

In the realm of bits and bytes, our computer teacher resides,

With tech jokes and coding tricks, our laughter guides.

With each click and clack, they unveil the tech mysteries,

Making errors disappear, like magic, with ease!

For Arabic Teachers :

In the realm of words, where beauty does reside,

Arabic teachers, your guidance is our pride.

On the stage, step forth with grace and poise,

Accept this token, our gratitude employs.

You've unfolded language's mysteries with care,

In your teachings, wisdom and culture we share.

๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† Celebrating 105 years of H H Sheikh Zayed with BODMAS๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

Cross-curricular learning offers a creative way of developing knowledge, understanding and improving practical skills through a study of interconnected topics. The primary teachers engaged grade 5 students in an innovative activity “105 years of H H Sheikh Zayed” that integrated the rich culture of the UAE with Ordering Mathematical operations using BODMAS. Students used this concept to formulate multiple expressions that all yield the result 105.

Student Reflections -

I always enjoy a challenge. When my math teacher mentioned we would be integrating My Identity into math, it fueled my curiosity to what the activity could be. H H Sheikh Zayed was born on 6th May, 1918.  To mark the importance of this day we used the four basic mathematical operations to celebrate His Highness’s 105th birthday. After understanding the significance of the order of operations using BODMAS I got to work and created as many expressions as I could to get the result 105! This activity was creative and innovative. Thank you Ms. Rafia for this enjoyable activity!!

Fun with BODMAS

I enjoyed this activity with BODMAS as it helped improve my creativity and taught me new concepts. The BODMAS order of operation is important because it gives us a standard method to follow while interpreting arithmetic expressions. Working on this activity helped me learn BODMAS in a fun and engaging way. Through this activity the process of learning met fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

BODMAS with My History is My Identity

When Ms. Rafia wrote the word “BODMAS” on the white board, I was intrigued and was curious to know what it meant. She started explaining in depth about this concept and how it is implemented. I learned that “BODMAS” is an acronym and each letter signifies a mathematical operation that helps us solve a multi operational complex equation in a precise pattern. I tried various combinations to get the number 105 and this was a fun way of learning a basic math concept.

How did I celebrate H H Sheikh Zayed’s birthday?

H H Sheikh Zayed was born on 6th May, 1918 and his birthday is a grand occasion celebrated in the UAE. I celebrated his birthday a bit differently this year by working on the “Fun with BODMAS” activity in Math class. It was an innovative activity where I thought of different ways to make 105, using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

How was the experience of BODMAS?

This activity was fun to do and was an exciting experience.

What new things did you learn?

I learnt how to divide to get the answer 105.

What challenges did I face in this activity?

I faced a challenge when working on multiplication as I was really confused but with determination I kept trying till I got the answer.

How would I rate this activity?

I would give it 10/10 as it was very enjoyable and I learned a lot of new things.

๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ Scammed!๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ

Have you ever been scammed? Well I have! I clearly remember last summer when I was bored and I had nothing interesting to do. I was invited by my brother to play Roblox. My brother and I were busy enjoying our creations when all of a sudden a strange player named ‘Goodfriend027’ asked me for my epic hat that I got for 500 robux. I was astonished because I did not know him. At first I refused yet he continued to converse with me and convinced me that we could be friends. I was not sure of that but I still agreed. He said good friends share passwords and phone numbers, so we exchanged ours in a jiffy. I was mesmerized by his avatar!

After a few days, I went to my friend Mike's house. We began playing Minecraft, when Mike abruptly asked me, "How many markers have you collected in Roblox Rida?” “I’ve collected fifty so far,” I replied. As we were chatting, I thought of telling him about Goodfriend027. It felt strange to talk about this new friend. I thought to myself that if I told him that, he would think I am not smart and he might laugh at me. But soon I blurted out telling him all about my new friend online and how he asked me for a hat.

I told Mike that we shared passwords with each other. Mike made a grim face and said “Rida, did you have to do that!?” I quickly replied in amazement  “Why, we are good friends!” Mike then replied “It takes a long time to become good and true friends. Good friends respect your privacy and never ask for passwords. What else did you share with him?” He also added that he could sign in to my account and take my precious hat.  I turned white with fear. I had also shared my mom’s contact number with him. I  ran home like I had seen a ghost! and murmured to myself, “Grrr! That Goodfriend027 better not take my hat!”

As I reached home, my little brother, Rohan, was playing on my laptop. He looked at me and said,  “hey Rida! I just found out that your hat is gone.” I was dumbstruck! And when I peered into my laptop, I realized that my hat was really gone! Then suddenly, my mom’s phone rang. I rushed towards her saying, “Mom, someone called ‘Good Friend’ is likely calling’. Mom replied “How did an unknown person get my number?” I replied, shaking like a leaf, “I gave your phone number and my roblox password to a player online!” Mom replied “Oh no! Go change your roblox password immediately and I’ll call the Digital station.”

I quickly changed my roblox password and mom got rid of the scammer. After a few weeks, another scammer tried the same strategy with me. Ha! I’m not falling for this scam twice. I immediately shut the game and blocked the site. I breathed a sigh of relief and advised all my friends to be careful and follow strict safety rules being online. We all promised each other to be responsible digital citizens henceforth.

๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ The Golden Heart of a Cricket Bat ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

I am the soul of a batsman,
The hero of the cricket ground,
My arms get held tight,
As my heart pounds ball by ball,
Boom! Boom! Boom!
As the ball goes for a ride all around the ground,
My face starts shining,
As the crowd starts to applaud,
With patience and grit,
I keep scoring more,
All I can expect,
Is a century or more!

๐Ÿช๐Ÿช๐Ÿช My Imaginary Planet - Xoletopile ๐Ÿช๐Ÿช๐Ÿช

Sreedevi Deepu of Grade 4F invented an imaginary planet in the milky way galaxy during the innovation week held in school.

Where is it?

It is 264 light years from Earth. It is very far and can be seen only with a telescope.

What’s the size of Xoletopile?

Xoletopile is very big. Xoletopile is the fourth largest planet in the Milky Way. You can fit 1,456 Earth inside it.

Fun facts

Xoletopile is the only planet that has rings in different angles. It also has a purple atmosphere due to purple pigment.

Is Xoletopile a gas giant or a terrestrial planet?

It is a terrestrial planet which means it has a solid surface.

Xoletopile’s satellite

Xoletopiles has three satellites. The first satellite’s name is Pinkal because it is pink. The next satellite's name is Magantani because it is magenta in colour. The next satellite's name is Egulorer because it is shaped like an egg.

Which star is Xoletopile’s parent star?

Xoletopile's parent star is a red dwarf called G4-Xole.

Is it habitable?

It is not in the habitable zone as it is far from the red dwarf. All the water is frozen in the ground due to its cold core with the temperature of - 265 degree celsius.

Fun Fact 2

It has a huge hole which extends to its core. Its so large we could see with our naked eye.

Color of Xoleletopile

It is mostly purple due to its purple pigment. It is a mystery as to why it is purple. It also has a pink pigment. No one knows so far as to why such colors are forming on this planet.

Is there oxygen on this planet so life will form?

The planet's atmosphere is mostly nitrogen with only 15.23 % of oxygen just like on Earth. There could be some species like Griffendevi which could survive such low temperatures on this planet.

Can anything survive on this planet?

Griffendevi could survive on this planet because of its special features. Some other things could also survive on this planet like bacteria.

More thing you need to know about Xoetopile

Xoletopile is moving away from its parent star because of constant hits by asteroids and comets.  I hope to take a mission to this planet in the year of 2060 when we get better equipment that would help us travel deeper into the milky way galaxy.
